5.1 SMS Notification Program: Gorilla HQ
Phone data collected: When you provide your phone number during signup and check the SMS consent box, we store your phone number, the timestamp of your consent, and the IP address from which you consented. We use this information solely to deliver SMS notifications you have opted in to receive.
How phone data is used: Your phone number is used to send transactional SMS notifications about your referrals (booking confirmations, status updates, move-day notifications, commission payouts). It is not used for marketing, promotional outreach, or any purpose other than the SMS notification program you opted in to.
No third-party sharing of SMS data: We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your phone number or SMS opt-in information to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third party with access to your phone number is our SMS delivery vendor (Twilio), solely for the technical purpose of message delivery on our behalf.
Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by updating your account preferences at movewithgorilla.com/account, or by contacting support@gorillamovers.com. Opt-out applies to SMS only; you may continue to receive account-related email communications.
Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier. Gorilla Movers does not charge a fee for SMS notifications.

5.2 Email Communications
Users may opt out of certain promotional communications where legally permitted. Operational and account-related communications (security alerts, payout notices, account status changes) may continue to be sent, as these are required for the service to function.
